Biblical Prophecy 3/13/10

Northern Edom is modern day Jordan. Bozrah and Teman are completely unique to that place.  In Bozrah and Teman will be the judgment of the Lord against Edom.

In the last days the middle eastern culture of the old Assyrian empire and Babylonian empire area will be the dominant culture.

There will be many changes coming; like the birth pangs of a woman. Getting closer and closer together; wars and famine and changes in the earth. Cultures will change with these changes in the earth.

Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

The word for divers can be significant.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

This is just the beginning of those birth pangs or sorrows.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

This has not happened yet.

Luke 21:10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.

There will be significant signs as these days approach. The earth is travailing and will spew out iniquity. It is the church which will be persecuted for the name of Jesus.

13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:

The message of salvation will become intolerable and to hold it will be to you an indictment and men will betray one another. Remember the three things which must happen before Jesus comes.

Falling Away/Restrainer is Removed/ Man of iniquity revealed.

When Jesus comes he will annihilate all the nations of the earth in his wrath; the stone which smites the image and grinds it to pieces.

Revelation 18 is literal.

In those days the great nation of exports and trade will be in the area of Babylon.

Rev 18:1 ¶ And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.

2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

A lot has to happen

Hag 2:22 And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.

There will be a mighty destruction of war after all of this is set up. It must be set up before the antichrist can arise, because when he starts he is immediately into war, famine and pestilence. There must be a strong economic base in order to make war.

There are real demonic spirits behind these idols and mythological gods. Zeus, Baalzebub, Dagon all represent the god of thunders and ruler over all the gods. The demonic spirits are clearly behind and will be behind these things. There will be in those days a mixture of the earthly and the angelic a mixture of the knowledge and sorceries of the days previous.

Enoch and Elijah will be prophesying similar to what they did in the old testament. Enoch in the days of Noah and Elijah against Baal. They will have great power to testify of what the Lord will do when he returns to bring judgment.

Remember; the spiritual, social and political impact of everything which is happening.

For us as a culture of the church we need to prepare for the future which is to come; all our hopes prayers and passion. The Holy Spirit is here to show us things to come.

Notice that we are no longer considered a Christian nation. Christians are now considered at some level intolerable. We will be hated by all nations for his name’s sake. But within these things we can believe God for the great things which he has promised us and there is still a harvest to reap and this gospel will also be preached in all the nations of the earth.

It is the apostasy which is the great falling away which will come and nothing starts jealousy and hatred more than you having more prosperity than they.

There are signs of times to be read now. The Lord has made us for signs and for wonders. We live out the prophetic events which are to come.
